The Sandersonian Institute of Cosmere Studies

Jun 12, 2019

After a long stint on Roshar, The Sandersonian Institute of Cosmere Studies is finally landing on a brand new (and also old) shardworld! In this episode, Amy, Jordan, and Bill start their exploration of Taldain, discussing White Sand, a graphic novel based on Brandon Sanderson's first (and eighth!) book he ever wrote.

Not only is White Sand one of Brandon's earliest books, though; it's also chronologically the first (currently published) that takes place in the Cosmere. We'll discuss Shards, the origins of our favorite migrant scholar Khriss, and even a couple of... prequel memes?

So join us as we explore this tidally locked world and take a look at White Sand!
